JJ Watt Raising Millions For Flood Victims; Here's How to Help Locally
JJ Watt's fundraiser has topped $3.5 million to help flooding victims in Houston. Here's how to help locally:

If you've ever had the chance to meet JJ Watt, you might say that he's larger than life. The Houston Texans football player and Pewaukee, Wis. native towers over the average person, standing six-foot-five and weighing in at 290 pounds.
As such, the NFL-sized defensive player is setting a towering goal. Watt donated $100,000 of his own money. Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul donated $50,000. The Texans donated $1 million.
Watt is pushing forward, to help flooding victims in the Houston area who have been deluged by hurricane and tropical storm Harvey, aiming to raise at least $4 million more through his youcaring fundraiser.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the youcaring fundraiser received $3.25 million in donations, and according to a WISN 12 report, a $1 million donation from Amy Adams Strunk, the controlling owner of the Tennessee Titans.

How You Can Help Locally
The Pewaukee School district is pitching in to help flooding victims.
Through the JJ Watt Foundation, the district is setting up a supply drive cafeteria at Pewaukee High School, 510 Lake St. at the following times: 4 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, and 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31.
Needed items include: rolled blankets, peanut butter, boxed crackers, boxed cookies, boxed muffins, granola bars, applesauce, pudding cups, fruit cups, tuna, plastic silverware and square boxes of facial tissue. Cash, checks and other donations are also being accepted.
