KFC Customer Calls 911 Over 'Cold Chicken' in Waukesha
Waukesha police had to advise an unhappy KFC customer after the customer called 911 complaining of cold chicken.
WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police had to advise an unhappy KFC customer after the customer called 911 complaining of cold chicken that the restaurant wouldn't refund.
According to Waukesha Police, two squads responded to the KFC on Sunset Drive just after 10 p.m. Tuesday on a report that KFC gave him "cold food" that they wouldn't refund.
When police arrived, they learned that the man was yelling at them through the windows and was parked near employees' vehicles. Employees were reportedly worried that the unhappy customer would damage them in some way.

Police met the unhappy customer and strongly advised him on the misuse of the 911 emergency line, and instead was given the appropriate non-emergency number to call.
He was given the KFC district manager's phone number, and he told police he would follow up with them the following day.
