If you haven’t gone to the Sullivan Junk Parade once, you need to check it off your bucket list. It is the most unique parade that I have ever been to. It alternates each year for the direction, this year it is heading from Sullivan to Rome. The parade takes off at noon, and will follow the parade route of-
Starts at Sullivan Village Park- travels east down Grove Street to southwest on Main
Street (which becomes) Hwy F to downtown Rome – continues north on Hwy P – to
Rome Fireman’s Park
(a.k.a.softball park) -END
Once the parade finishes there will be live music, food and kids activities at Rome Fireman’s Park.
