Laundry Fight Involved Pregnant Woman; Resisted Arrest: Police
Waukesha police reported that a fight that started over laundry resulted in 2 arrests, including a pregnant woman who struggled with police.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police say they took two women into custody - one who was nine months pregnant - after a laundry dispute came to blows.
According to police reports, police responded to the 200 block of Hinman Ave. just after midnight on Feb. 5 on a report that one woman was attempting to fight another in the basement laundry area of the four-unit apartment.
Police told Waukesha Patch that when officers arrived at the apartment, they heard signs of an active altercation in the basement and went to investigate.

During the investigation, police arrested Ciriah L. Burton on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting an officer - both of which were municipal ordinance violations. Officers also took Adriana L. Wonders Gilbert into custody for disorderly conduct. Police told Patch that both women were the people who were involved in the altercation.
According to police reports, Burton was nine months pregnant. At the scene, Burton reported having "some type of contractions," however refused medical treatment.

Both women were booked into the Waukesha Police Department and later released.
