Waukesha police responded to the 800 block of Lincoln Ave. in the early morning hours of June 12 on a report of a burglary in progress.
According to police, a man was trying to get into the house and was refusing to leave.
Reports indicated the man kept saying "my name's Shawn and I'm your neighbor," despite the fact that the resident had never seen him before.
According to police, they made contact with him at about 2:30 p.m. and took him into custody.
Reports state that the man had a prior conviction for disorderly conduct.

Man Robbed at Knife Point

A man was reportedly robbed at knife point just after 1:30 on the 400 block of Richard St. on June 12.
Four Waukesha squads were dispatched to the scene, and learned that it may have been a drug deal gone wrong.
The suspect was described as a black male between 5'8" and 5'9" tall, wearing a hoodie and jeans with a blue bandana around his face.
The suspect was no longer at the scene.
