Lost 6-Year-Old Leads to Citywide Police Search for Others

Waukesha police scoured the area for a group of children after a concerned citizen found a lost 6-year-old boy walking alone.

WAUKESHA, WI - Waukesha police scoured the city Wednesday night after a six-year-old child was found walking alone on the street Wednesday night and reportedly lost.

According to police, a group of children that were supposed to be playing at Sentinal Park met up with several other children and left to walk around the city.
The six-year-old reportedly couldn't keep up and fell back.

The boy who couldn't keep up was found by a passerby, who called police, who then gave him a ride home.

According to the report, police checked Sunset Bowl, Meijer, Walmart and other places in order to find the others, and ultimately found them at about 9:45 p.m. at the local Walmart.

All children were returned to their homes.
