According to Wisconsin Department of Justice records, Arleigh Smith was convicted in 2009 of second-degree sexual assault of a child. Authorities say Smith was a martial arts instructor in Brookfield in 2009 and sexually assaulted 12 and 13-year-old victims. The Waukesha Police Department says Smith will be on the sex offender registry for the rest of his life, and has submitted to face-to-face registration with law enforcement. Authorities say Smith is to have no employment or volunteer involvement with children, nor is he is to have any unsupervised contact with children.
