New Information: Man In Crisis With Long ER Wait
Officials at ProHealth Care in Waukesha have come forward with new information detailing a man's emergency room visit.

WAUKESHA, WI — Officials at ProHealth Care in Waukesha have come forward with new information detailing a man's emergency room visit after earlier reports stated that a man who had self-harm ideations got urgent assistance from medical health professionals after a "several hour" stay.
According to detailed ProHealth Care records, the patient in question was in the hospital emergency department for less than three hours. The patient received attention from health professionals several times during this period but declined care. All protocols were followed, officials stated.
According to reports earlier this month, Waukesha police responded to the 800 block of John St. on a report that a man had been drinking and intended to harm himself.

Within an hour of making the initial call to 911, the man was transported to the hospital for voluntary treatment.
When the man realized the wait at the ER, he reportedly reaffirmed his self-harm ideations. A crisis team responded and created a safety plan for the man, according to police reports.
