WAUKESHA, WI -- The driver of a sport utility vehicle is in critical condition after authorities in Waukesha say a there was a serious accident on Highway 164 Wednesday afternoon. According to Waukesha Police, officers responded to the intersection of Highway 164 and Lincoln Ave. at just before 4:45 p.m. Wednesday on report of a two-vehicle accident between the driver of a red Chevrolet SUV and a black SUV. According to reports, witnesses at the crash site told investigators that the driver of the black SUV was traveling south on Highway 164 approaching the uncontrolled intersection at Lincoln Ave., when the driver of a red SUV drove across Highway 164 while heading east.
