WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to an apartment on the 100 block of W. North Street just after 2 a.m. Friday on a report of a fight. Waukesha police told Patch.com that officers responded to the apartment and learned that one person involved may have fallen on a knife, seriously injuring himself in the chest. Through the investigation, police told Patch that the fall was accidental and that the stab wound was self-inflicted. Police said foul play is not suspected in this incident. According to reports, the man temporarily controlled the bleeding from his chest, and he was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. No arrests or citations were issued.
