Man Passed Out Behind Wheel At Kwik Trip With Child In Car: Cops

WAUKESHA, WI -- A 33-year-old Waukesha man faces multiple charges after police say he was found passed out behind the wheel at Kwik Trip with a child in his vehicle.

According to court records, Michael Meganck, 33, Waukesha, has been arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a minor in the vehicle, possession of narcotics in the form of heroin, child neglect, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of bail jumping.

According to Waukesha police reports, officers were dispatched to the Kwik Trip on S. West Ave. on a report of a man down. Reports indicated that Meganck was slumped over in the driver's seat with a child in the back seat.

Police and fire department first responders arrived and revived Meganck, and the child was brought to safety.
