Man Passes Out In Waukesha McDonald's Drive-Through: Police

Police say a man was arrested for his second drunk driving offense after passing out in a McDonald's drive-through.

WAUKESHA, WI — Police responded to the McDonald's on Meadowbrook road just before 10 p.m. on Aug. 1 on a report of an apparent drunk driver who had passed out in the drive-through.

According to police reports, someone from the popular fast food restaurant called the police, saying that a man was passed out in a purple Honda Accord in the drive-through. Staff said that he was breathing, but was not responding.

Waukesha police said that officers arrived a short time later, where the man was revived and taken into custody on suspicion of his second drunk driving offense.

Police told Patch that the man was transported to the Waukesha County Memorial Hospital and then to the County Jail to be held on an apparent probation violation.
