Man Tries Impersonating Waukesha Sheriff's Deputy: Report

WAUKESHA, WI — An apartment resident on the 900 block of N. Hartwell called police late Saturday night after a neighbor reportedly impersonated a Waukesha County Sheriff's deputy and tried forcing his way into the man's apartment.

According to Waukesha police reports, the apartment resident and his spouse were involved in a heated discussion over a personal matter when the neighbor showed up at his door and demanded entry, at one point trying to force himself inside.

Reports indicate the neighbor was kept out, and the apartment resident called police. When real officers arrived, they determined the couple simply engaged in loud talking, and the neighbor was not able to be found.
