Apartment Fire Displaces 20 Families
Waukesha families have been displaced after a late-night apartment fire at the Fairview Apartment complex.

WAUKESHA, WI — Several Waukesha families have been displaced after a late-night apartment fire at the Fairview Apartment complex.
According to fire officials, the fire started at about 11 p.m. Saturday. A WISN report stated that fire crews arrived to see flames moving through two floors of the apartment. A witness to WISN that fire crews entered the burning building, and kicked down doors of some apartments in order to facilitate evacuating all families from the building.
According to reports, the fire was contained to the third floor, with the first and second floors sustaining water damage, according to Fox 6. The everyone was safely evacuated. Media reports indicated that 20 families were affected. The Red Cross is offering help to 15 families as a result of the fire.
