Margaritas Mexican Grill To Move; Adjusts Opening Date

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha staple for many years, Margaritas Mexican Grill is moving to a bigger, busier location.

According to multiple reports including the Waukesha Freeman, Margaritas Mexican Grillis moving from its Grand Ave. location over to 408 E. Main St. which is the former Casa del Rio restaurant site.

"Our customers here will probably go there. It's not too bad — it's only five minutes, maybe four minutes from here," Margaritas owner Abel Delo told the Journal Sentinel. "I asked everybody and they said, 'Oh, it's OK.' There, we'll probably have more customers on the weekend because it is close to downtown."

They have a tentative opening date at their new location of between May 1 to 18 with details to follow.

According to the Journal Sentinel, Margaritas move to Main Street coincides with the second closing of Casa del Rio, which re-opened last year after closing for the first time in 2013.
