Menacing Mustang Driver Arrested After Threatening Woman With Knife

The driver of a souped-up Mustang reportedly was a menace to a Waukesha neighborhood Saturday and was arrested after threatening a woman.

WAUKESHA, WI — The driver of a souped-up Mustang reportedly was a menace to a Waukesha neighborhood Saturday and was arrested after threatening a woman with a knife.

Waukesha police responded to the 400 block of N. Moreland Blvd. just after 5 p.m. on a report that a vehicle had been racing up and down the street all day.
When a female resident in the area went out and told the driver to slow down, the driver reportedly threatened the woman with a knife.

The vehicle was described as a reddish-orange souped-up Mustang with two white men inside the vehicle.

The person who called police to report the incident stated that the knife was in a sheath on the driver's hip and that the driver implied the threat.

A second and third caller called police on the same vehicle at about the same time, according to reports.

By 5:30 p.m. officers had responded to the area, located the vehicle and managed to make contact with the suspected driver. According to the police report, the driver was taken into custody just before 6:30 p.m.
