Waukesha police responded to the intersection of W. Moreland Blvd. and Delafield St. just after 5 a.m. Monday on a report of a two-vehicle accident on the 400 block of Moreland.

According to police reports, an off-duty officer observed a vehicle strike a parked car.

The man was stopped near Moreland and Gascoigne and was taken into custody on operating while intoxicated.

Mom Calls 911 on Son For Driving 10 Over

A woman was advised on her improper use of 911 after one of her son's reportedly drove approximately 10 miles over the speed limit on I-94.

According to police, the woman stated she was inside a red Chevy Malibu when one of her teenage sons ended up driving about 80 miles per hour on the freeway. According to the report, the mom did not feel safe, made him pull over and called 911.
