Concerned Citizen Calls in Man Slumped Over the Wheel

A concerned citizen called police Saturday just after 10 p.m. on a report of a man slumped over the steering wheel of a running vehicle near the intersection of Rolling Ridge Dr and Meadowbrook Rd.
Police responded to the intersection and found that the man was apparent intoxicated driver. He was taken into custody and transported to the emergency room and intensive care unit for treatment.

Waukesha police were called to the old bakery building on 417 Barney St. on a report of a burglary in progress Saturday just after 2 p.m.
Four squads were dispatched to the area after they were advised that two males in their 20s were trying to break the plywood off the windows, and later gained access to the roof.
When police arrived on the scene, they located the two men - who turned out to be juveniles.
According to the police report, the two were climbing on the roof and looking into windows of the abandoned building.
Police advised both of their behavior and turned over to their mother to handle.
