OBIT: Howard J. Graser

Howard J. Graser, of New Berlin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at the age of 96 years old.

Howard was born in New Berlin on Oct. 17, 1914, to William and Alice (nee Scheets) Graser. He was united in marriage to Helen (nee Delikat) on July 24, 1937. Together they were longtime members of the in Waukesha. Howard retired from Allis-Chalmers after 44 years of employment.

Howard will be sadly missed by his children, Marjorie (George) Marks of Waukesha, Arlene (Marlyn, Jr.) Niemuth of Waukesha, and William H. (Teri) of Waukesha; his grandchildren, Brad (Melissa) Marks, Alan (Keri) Niemuth and Chad (Karin) Niemuth; his 4 great-grandchildren, Ian, Emma, Audrey and Zoe Niemuth; his sister-in-laws, Lorraine Delikat, Lorraine Guhr and Elaine (George) Buhrandt; and also by several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; his parents; and his siblings.

The visitation for Howard will be from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ, 413 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188. Reverend Ralph Schultz will be officiating the service. Interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.
