
Dawn Spelich Ewing, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at the age of 44.
She was born on August 8, 1967 in Waukesha the daughter of Thomas and Joan (nee Leitinger) Spelich. She graduated from Waukesha North High School in 1985 and worked for First Weber Realty, H&R Block and Sobelman’s restaurant in Milwaukee. Dawn enjoyed gardening and had a great love for animals and enjoyed feeding the squirrels and raccoons. She was a very proud mother and enjoyed being active in her children’s school by volunteering for school field trips and class activities.
She will be forever missed by her husband Randall Ewing of Waukesha, her children: Cpl Erich Ewing of Twenty-nine Palms, CA, and Kendall and Kennedy Ewing both of Waukesha, her mother Joan (the late Thomas) Spelich of Pewaukee, and her brother Chad (Carrie) Spelich of Oconomowoc. She is further survived by her mother-in-law Elaine Ewing of Waukesha, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas “Tom” on December 6, 2008.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at , 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Services continue on Saturday, November 12 at the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. for a procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave., Waukesha for the 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass. Father Bill Key will preside.
