Obituary: Elizabeth A. 'Betty' Anderson
Sussex woman loved to spend time watching grandchildren's activities at Waukesha North High School.

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Anderson, of Sussex, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, surrounded by her family at her home at the age of 79, following a short but courageous battle with esophageal cancer.
She was born on July 13, 1932, in Raleigh, WV, the daughter of Rush O. Reed and Annie O. Moss. On March 12, 1954, she married Clarence “Andy” Anderson in Coal City, WV. Betty was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s many activities and school events at Betty left this life as she had lived it, with absolute grace, courage, good humor and love for her family
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of more than 57 years Clarence “Andy” of Sussex, along with their daughters Sherry (Dean) Michaelis of Waukesha and Sandi (Josh) Adams of Milwaukee. Dear grandmother of Kelli and Cory Michaelis both of Waukesha, Ed (Coleen) Michaelis of Wauwatosa and Monica (Jesse) Boyajian of Waukesha and great-grandmother of Spencer, Sadie and Eli Michaelis and Bennett Boyajian. She is further survived by her brother Wilbur (Becky) Reed of Sophia, WV; sister-in-law Laura Reed of Columbia, SC, along with numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers Rush Jr. and Arnold and sister Bonnie Mills.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10 from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service at , 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Please meet at the cemetery.
