Obituary: Patrick H. “Pat” May
Waukesha man, who served in Germany with the U.S. Army, was proud of his children.

Patrick H. “Pat” May of Waukesha, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011.
Pat was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 28, 1930, the son of Henry and Henrietta May. He was a graduate of St. Norbert College where he received his commission in the U.S. Army. Pat served in Germany and then in the Army Reserves. Pat proudly served his country and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 449 in Brookfield. He was a member of St. William Catholic Church.
Pat was the loving dad of Dr. Judith (Dr. Paul) Pagel of Elm Grove, Jeffrey (Karrie) May of Kewaskum, Jean (Ricardo) DeLaPaz of Waukesha, Jill (Ted) Williams of Waukesha; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Besides his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his twin brother, John. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pat was very proud of his children and expressed many times in his last months of life how he wanted each of them to know how much he loved them and how happy he was with their success in life. A visitation for Pat will be from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at , 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Doug Leonhardt, S.J. will be officiating. There will be a private family burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be dispersed to his favorite charities.
