One Arrested In Waukesha Apartment Fight: Report

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha man has been taken into custody after police say they had to breach the door of his apartment in order to respond to a domestic disturbance on Wednesday night.

According to police call logs, officers responded to an apartment on the 300 block of N. West Ave. at just after 8:30 p.m. on July 17 on a report of a domestic disturbance.

Police told Patch that the apartment resident was allowing other people to stay with him. When the resident asked them to leave a fight ensued.

Call logs stated that the resident refused to open the door when police arrived. Authorities breached the door, and one person was arrested. He's currently awaiting charges.
