A case of "parking lot rage" took place Sunday after a close call between a driver and a pedestrian in the Menard's parking lot.

WAUKESHA -- A case of "parking lot rage" took place Sunday after a close call between a driver and a pedestrian in the Menard's parking lot.

Police advised two parties who reportedly got into a scuffle after the driver of a vehicle nearly hit a pedestrian.

According to the report, a pedestrian was walking in the Menard's parking lot just before 3:30 p.m. Sunday when the driver of a vehicle nearly struck him.

The report states that the pedestrian, a 50-year-old male wearing a blue and red shirt, became frustrated, banged on the window of the vehicle.

The vehicle's driver also accused the pedestrian of throwing a punch at him, striking him in the head.

When police intervened, the pedestrian denied throwing the punch. Police advised both the driver and the pedestrian on their behavior and no complaint was wished by either party.
