Pewaukee Farmers Market Relocates

Now in the "heart of the village"

The Pewaukee Farmers Market relocated to a new location earlier this Spring to accommodate the construction now underway at its former location, Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. After an exhaustive search for an ideal location that provides ample space for up to 40 vendor stalls, ease of shopper parking, and sufficient drive-by traffic, the new location at H.C. Koepp Park was selected. Located at 201 Oakton Ave and owned by the Pewaukee Parks & Recreation Department, Market Manager Dick Strassburger calls it "the heart of the village." He said, "it's a busy Wednesday for the village with hundreds of beach-goers at nearby Pewaukee Lake, Waterfront Wednesdays with live music in the evenings, and now a fresh market." The Pewaukee Farmers Market features locally grown produce, flowers, and prepared foods. Additionally, the market is a haven for artisans, crafters, and features live music.

The Pewaukee Farmers Market is an outreach of the Pewaukee Chamber of Commerce, of which Dick Strassburger is the President. "It is work but also pure pleasure to spend Wednesday afternoons outside and away from the office working with our local farmers and agricultural vendors, talented artisans, and special exhibits from the Pewaukee Fire Department, Village Police, Goodwill Recycling, and Pewaukee Public Library."

The Pewaukee Farmers Market operates Wednesdays from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm June through September of 2019.
