WAUKESHA -- Firefighters battled a blaze at Fracaro's lanes late Sunday night, turning back flames that consumed a large part of a family-owned business and a fixture in the community.
According to a report from TMJ4, investigators were still working on determining the cause of the fire as of Jan. 3 morning, however it appeared the fire started in the bowling alley's kitchen area, and that the damage was estimated to be approximately $250,000.
Owner Mike Hansen, the original owner's grandson, told TMJ4 that no one was inside at the time of the fire, and that leagues that start in September should expect them to be back open by then.
