Plans for Waukesha Sonic Diner in Limbo
The Sonic at 2208 E. Moreland Blvd., will remain closed through 2016 with no plans to re-open the burger-and-shake joint.
WAUKESHA -- The Sonic at 2208 E. Moreland Blvd., will remain closed through 2016 with no plans to re-open the burger-and-shake joint.
According to a report from Waukesha NOW, an official from Sonic said the Waukesha location closed for renovations and staff training after a change in ownership. He also described the closure as "short" and said the restaurant would open again "soon." It was the same statement issued to Waukesha NOW in summer.
