PODS® of Wisconsin supports Cub Scout fundraising efforts with donation of PODS container
(MILWAUKEE, Wisc.) –Nov. 3, 2015 - With the support of PODS of Wisconsin, Pewaukee Cub Scout Pack 13 will be able to store their popcorn in a safe and secure PODS container donated by the leading moving and storage company during their annual popcorn drive this fall. The drive is ongoing until Saturday, Nov.14.
The annual popcorn drive is a fundraiser to support each pack so they can plan a year of activities. This money will support annual camp trips, educational outings and outdoor equipment such as tents and canoes. The pack will also have a chance to earn badges for the work they put in to selling.
Amy Bogart, member of Pack 13’s Fundraising Committee, says the pack has had great success so far. “The convenience of having the PODS container makes it much easier for pack members to pick up extra popcorn. In the past, we’ve had to go to a remote location, but with PODS, we’ve been able to fundraise more efficiently.”

“PODS of Wisconsin is proud to support the efforts of Cub Scout Pack 13,” said John Hudson, owner of PODS of Wisconsin. “We’re happy to help with the Cub Scouts storage needs so that they can allocate their resources toward the important activities the kids deserve to experience.”
Proceeds from the drive will go to Pewaukee Cub Scout Pack 13’s dues and their trips they plan throughout the year. Trips consist of trail hiking and summer camping at Long Lake.
