Police Arrest Man Who Threatened Home Owner With Gun: Report

WAUKESHA, WI — A man who threatened a home owner with a gun has been arrested and is awaiting charges, police in Waukesha say.

According to reports, officers responded to the 300 block of Mountain Ave. just before 10 a.m. on April 26 on a report of a man with a gun.

Waukesha police told Patch that a 51-year-old Waukesha man was arrested later that same day on suspicion of endangering safety and possession of stolen property after an altercation the home owner.

Police said the argument was over contracted work that was paid for, but was never completed.

Police reports stated that a witness called police, saying that the man waved a black pistol at the homeowner as he left the scene with her money that she paid for the contracted work.

According to police reports, officers went to the man's apartment where the gun was eventually found. Officers continued their search for the man, and later caught up with him and took him into custody just after 3 p.m.
