Police Arrest Reckless I-94 Drunk Driver

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the area of Silvernail Road and N. Grandview Blvd. on a report of a reckless vehicle.

Police reports indicated that the driver of a silver Ford Escape drove through the ditch on I-94 and almost hit another vehicle on the freeway.

The driver pulled off the freeway and began driving through Waukesha, with a concerned citizen following him after calling police.

Police conducted a traffic stop just before 1 p.m., and the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of drunk driving.
