Police Breach Door in Delafield St. Burglary Case
As a family hid upstairs and called police, they heard a suspect moving around downstairs.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the 700 block of Delafield St. just after 1 a.m. Monday on a report of a burglary in progress.
According to police reports, a family with five children sent a 911 text to authorities notifying them that they believed someone was breaking into the house.
The person who notified police stated that they had their children safe in upstairs bedrooms as they heard noises downstairs.
Waukesha police responded to the area and established a perimeter around the home.
Police breached the door of the home, and swept the first floor and the basement.
The house was determined to be clear just after 2 a.m.
