Police Breach Door in Waukesha Domestic Dispute

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police had to breach the door of an apartment on the 300 block of Born Place just after 1:30 a.m. Monday after a report that a neighbor heard an apparent shouting match.

According to police reports, the neighbor heard signs of a verbal argument and suspected that a resident's boyfriend was on the property despite a possible no-contact order that was in place for the boyfriend.

When police arrived at the residence, there was no response at the residence nor were either party answering phone calls. Police breached the door just after 2 a.m. at which point both the female and male were taken into custody.

By 3 a.m., they were booked, cited and later released.
