A man who was driving all over the road including the sidewalk, was advised by police. A man who got locked out got an unexpected visit.

Waukesha police advised a reckless driver on responsible driving after a driver reported the driver "all over the road" and nearly hitting several parked cars just before 9 p.m. Tuesday.

According to reports, Waukesha Police stopped the driver near the intersection of Maple Ave. and Wisconsin Ave. after the driver was observed driving recklessly, including driving over a sidewalk at one point.

Police reported that the driver was a full-time student who also works after school.

Waukesha police responded to the Hillcrest Apartments on the 300 block of Dodie Drive Tuesday night on a report of a burglary in progress.

According to police reports, a man in his late teens to early 20s was observed opening a side window and entering one of the apartment units.

Four squads were dispatched to the police call. After officers investigated, they learned that a female resident's boyfriend locked himself out and took matters into his own hands by crawling in via a side window.
