Police Called After Private Phone Call Broadcast Over Intercom
Waukesha police responded to the Carmax on Kossow road on a report of suspicious sounds coming from the intercom.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the Carmax on Kossow road on a report of suspicious sounds coming from the business.
According to police reports, a caller notified police that it sounded like a phone conversatoin was being blared over the company's intercom, and it sounded like a private conversation.
According to police, once they investigated, they learned that the security company that monitors the store's cameras from West Virgina, accidentally left the phone line open to the public address system on the lot.

Police learned that they were having a private conversation that was being aired over the PA and it was exceptionally loud.
The report stated that eventually the parties involved noticed officers on-scene and aired their phone number over the PA.

Security officers involved were advised by polie, and fixed the problem.
