Police Called Over Worker Getting Fingertip Cut Off

Police say a 40-year-old worker was attempting to fix an issue with a machine that was being used for work.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to SPX Transformer Solutions Inc., 400 S. Prairie Ave. just before 2 a.m. Nov. 16 on a report of an industrial accident.

Waukesha police told Patch that a 40-year-old worker was attempting to fix an issue with a machine that was being used for work. While doing this the worker had the tip of his finger cut off. According to police reports, at the time of the call, he and co-workers were attempting to locate the tip of the finger.

Police said he was transported by the Waukesha Fire Department to the hospital for medical treatment.
