Police Called On Poor Sport, Upset That 'White Guy Lost'

Police were called after Saturday's boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor after a man was upset "the white guy lost."

WAUKESHA, WI — An uninvited house guest, upset that the "white guy lost" in the Mayweather vs. McGregor boxing match, claims he was assaulted after he made a racial comment and repeatedly asked to leave the property where the fight was on television.

The man who was allegedly assaulted called police. When police arrived at the residence on the 1200 block of Chippewa in Waukesha just after midnight, the caller was immediately and throughout the entire contact uncooperative with Fire Dept personnel as well as uncooperative and argumentative with officers. He was also reportedly intoxicated.

Police reported that he had a visible injury to his left eye area and was intoxicated and reported he was assaulted by a man who lives across the street.

Upon speaking with multiple individuals at the residence in question, they stated the man who was injured had come over with his son, uninvited, to watch the McGregor vs. Mayfeather fight. The homeowner stated he asked and told the uninvited guest to leave multiple times and he kept returning.

The guest admitted to police after McGregor was defeated, he made a racial comment that the other attendees were upset because the "white guy lost."

The homeowner stated he then physically pushed and escorted the guest off of his property. All others in attendance denied a physical fight or assault against or with the guest, and there was no evidence to further substantiate if the guest was punched.

The home owner said at some point the guest's son and child's mother, came to
assist and help take him off of the property and they did not cause any
problems.

The guest was adamant with police that he was punched, but was inconsistant in
reporting who he was punched by. He was given a crime victim pamphlet with
an incident report number and told to contact police when he sobered up. He was also advised that there is potential he could also be arrested for this incident.
