Police Called on Waukesha Kids Playing With Fake Guns
A Waukesha resident called the police on a group of children playing a game with fake guns because they "couldn't tell the difference."

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha resident called the police on a group of children playing a game with fake guns.
Waukesha police responded to the intersection of Seitz Dr. and Downing Dr. just after 5 p.m. on a report of a man with a gun.
According to police reports, a male carrying a gun that looked like an M-16 was walking toward Sweetbriar.

The person who called police stated the person was wearing an all-black costume with orange, and was wearing a mask over his face, and could not tell if the gun was fake or real.
Waukesha police responded to the area and found a young man walking down the middle of the road with a possible gun that was slung over his shoulder.

When police investigated, they determined the children were playing a game with airsoft guns, and that the guns still had the orange safety tips on them.
