Police Chase Down Colton St. Assault Suspect: Report

Waukesha police reported that a 22-year-old man fled the apartment after an apparent assault.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to an apartment on the 1000 block of White Rock Ave. just after 6:30 a.m. on July 25 on a report of a domestic disturbance.

According to police reports, officers responded to the apartment on a report that a woman's ex-boyfriend had battered her. The victim in this case requested an ambulance for an apparent head injury.

Waukesha police told Patch that a 22-year-old man fled the apartment after an apparent assault. He was located after a short police foot pursuit near Colton Street.

Police told Patch that the man was arrested on suspicion of domestic-related battery, three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and violation of a court-issued no-contact order.
