Police Force Entry on Born Place After Domestic Incident Reported

Police responded to Born Pl. on a report of a domestic disturbance. A female reportedly came out, only to go back in and lock the door.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police needed to force entry to a residence on the 400 block of Born Place during the early morning hours on Sunday on a report of a domestic disturbance inside.

According to police, a person called police early Sunday on a report of the sounds of a man and woman fighting, yelling and breaking things inside the residence - noting that there were also two small children inside.

Police arrived just before 2 a.m. and according to reports, the female came outside, saw the male, and ran back inside and locked the door.

Additional units responded to the scene with shields, less-lethal ammunition and the department's K9 unit.

By 1:53 a.m. police had breached the door to the residence and made contact with the female inside. The male was also located a short time later and taken into custody without further incident.
