Police Investigate 'Mystery Apartment Flooding'

Waukesha police were called to an apartment complex early Saturday in a case of a mysterious apartment flooding.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police were called to an apartment complex early Saturday in a case of a mysterious apartment flooding.

Waukesha police responded to an apartment complex on the 1200 block of S. Grand Ave. on a report of a suspicious persons complaint.

According to the report, a maintenance worker reported that a lot of water came into one of the apartment units from the ceiling which is directly below a suspicious apartment unit.

The maintenance worker felt the water was coming from an overflowing bathtub upstairs.

When police arrived, they saw no signs of flooding from the suspicious unit, however.

Police were unable to locate the source of water that was leaking into the lower apartment, noted that the water did stop leaking by the time officers cleared the scene.
