Waukesha police responded to the 400 block of Tenny Ave. just after 1 a.m. Saturday on a report of a suspicious person.

According to police, a person called police stating that either an animal or a person was screaming in the area.

When police investigated, they learned that the suspicious noise they heard came from a mother fox attempting to find her young, and was communicating with one another to be reunited.

Drunk Driver Reported at Kwik Trip

A Kwik Trip employee called police just before 10 p.m. Friday on a report of a male slumped over in a silver Nissan.

According to police, police arrived several minutes later and learned that the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated. The driver was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital later that evening.
