Police Nab Reported Waukesha Car Burglar

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the 1900 block of Madera St. on a report of a person who was trying to break into vehicles early Monday morning.

According to police reports, a man wearing a red shirt, shorts, and a baseball cap was walking around trying to open car doors. The person who called police stated he was putting his hands under his shirt while he was trying to pull the door handles.

Police responded to the area, and were further informed that the man was described as between 20-30 years old and was carrying a kid's bowling pin and also a tricycle.

The man was found outside the 1900 block of Madera where he was taken into custody.
