Police Searching For Speedway Robber
Police said a man came up to the counter and implied to the cashier that he had a weapon.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Police in Waukesha say they're on the lookout for a suspect accused of robbing the Speedway gas station.
According to Waukesha police reports, officers responded to the Speedway gas station at 521 S. Grand Ave. just after 6 p.m. on Jan. 3 on a report of a hold-up.
Waukesha police said that when officers arrived, they learned that a man had come up to the counter and implied to the cashier that he had a weapon was robbing the gas station.

According to police reports, the customer came in wearing a gray hoodie with the letters CMH on it, and made a gesture toward his right hip during the incident.
Reports stated that officers set up a perimeter in the area, and searched the neighborhood to no avail.

Police say they did not learn exactly was taken during the robbery, though reports indicated the man left the Speedway on foot with a carton of cigarettes.
Police said the case remains open for investigation and officers are actively following up on leads.
