Police Tell Cook Street Resident To Turn Generator Off: Report
The resident said he was using the generator because his power was turned off due to him being more than $600 behind on bills.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to a home on the 100 block of Cook Street just before 10 p.m. on July 7 on a report of a noise complaint.
According to police reports, a person called police stating that a person in the neighborhood was running their power generator again, and that it has been going on for the past two weeks.
When police investigated, they knocked on the door of the house in question, only to have the resident turn the generator off and make contact with police.

According to reports, the resident said he was using the generator for electricity because his electricity was turned off due to him being more than $600 behind in payments.
Police said the noise was unreasonable, and that officers would respond to his house every time they receive a noise complaint. He was given options on how to get his power turned back on, according to police.
