Police Track Down Behind-The-Wheel 'Varmint Hunter': Report
An observer reported that a man behind the wheel of a silver car was pointing the long barrel of a rifle out the window of his car.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police eventually tracked down a "varmint-hunting" man behind the wheel, but not after the man was reported to police with some alarm by a concerned citizen.
According to police reports, an officer responded to the 1400 block of Big Bend Road just after 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 26 at an apartment complex on a report that a man behind the wheel of a silver car was pointing the long barrel of a rifle out the window of his car.
Police told Patch.com that a caller reported a sedan driving around the parking lot who was pointing a gun at the apartment building.

Police conducted a search of the suspect's vehicle on nearby Waukesha streets, only to eventually reach him initially on the phone. According to police reports, the man said he was trying to "shoot a varmint on his property."
Officers made contact with the man, who further said that he had an airsoft gun, and that he was using it for vermin hunting. Police issued him one citation in the incident.
