Police Track Down Man in Stabbing Case; Also Cited for OWI
A man who was reportedly stabbed Saturday night fled the scene because "he didn't want to get into trouble."

WAUKESHA, WI — A man who was stabbed had to be tracked down by police after the man reportedly did not want to get into trouble.
Waukesha police responded to the 400 block of Kimberly Drive just before 10 p.m. on Saturday evening on a report of a stabbing.
According to police, a person called police stating that a person was stabbed and that they did not known the severity of the stabbing.

Police reports stated that two squads were dispatched to the area and given a description of the two men who were involved in the incident and the vehicle they both got into and left in - a silver SUV.
Police were advised that the man that was stabbed told a witness that he was trying to get back to his residence because he did not want to get into trouble.

Police located the vehicle with at least one of the men inside, and conducted a high-risk stop at Michigan and Hine jsut before 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
According to police, the apparent suspect had a laceration to his left hand. He was taken into custody without further incident, though he was also arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
