WAUKESHA, WI — Authorities in Waukesha say they're waiting to hear more information about what led to the discovery of a dead body in Waukesha earlier this month.
On Aug. 11, police in Waukesha said they were not ruling anything out after a passerby reported finding a dead body in the woods.
According to Waukesha Police call logs, a person out walking on the morning of Aug. 11 reported finding the body of a man in a wooded area near the railroad tracks near the 800 block of E. Moreland Blvd.

Police say the body was partially decomposed at the time of its discovery, that the area it was found was typically inhabited by homeless people, and that the Medical Examiner took possession of the body for analysis.
Police say the identity of the deceased, including the cause and manner of death are still being determined, and that nothing has been ruled out.
