Registration Open Waukesha Salvation Army Day Camp

Camps will run from Monday, June 18 through Friday, August 17.

From the Waukesha Salvation Army: The Waukesha Salvation Army will again be conducting its popular eight-week Summer Day Camp program in 2018, this year running from Monday, June 18 through Friday, August 17 according to the charity’s Director of Youth Ministry, Cheri Winchowky.

An explanatory flyer and all forms needed to register and to apply for financial aid, if needed, are on the charity’s website under “Youth and Camps” or may be picked up at the local corps.

“Also underway is active recruiting for paid day camp counselors,” explained Winchowky, saying “these are great summer jobs for college students who have career interests in teaching, parks and rec management, child psychology and church or charitable work, just as they are for adults, parents or grandparents with an interest in the satisfaction of having a positive influence on young peoples’ lives.”
