Reminder: Local Musician Performing at Summerfest Thursday

A Waukesha musician will be performing at Summerfest, which begins Wednesday in Milwaukee.

Tony Memmel and his band will be at Summerfest  at 3 p.m. Thursday on the Cascio Stage  and at 4:30 p.m. July 10 on the Refugee Stage.

Memmel and his band have been recognized as one of the best local bands at Summerfest this year by Inside Milwaukee, the official site of Milwaukee Magazine.

Memmel, who has performed across the Midwest and the United States, stands out among musicians because he plays his guitar despite being born without his left forearm, according to his biography.
