Routine Traffic Stop Turns Into Drug, Alcohol Charges: Police

A routine traffic stop early on Saturday turned into a drunk driving charge and drug charges for a driver who didn't have his headlights on.

WAUKESHA, WI — A routine traffic stop early on Saturday turned into a drunk driving charge and drug charges for a driver who didn't have his headlights on, according to police.

On Saturday, Feb. 17. just after 1:30 a.m. Waukesha police conducted a traffic stop on the 2100 block of Moreland Blvd. after police saw that the vehicle was driving without headlights on.

Waukesha police told Patch.com that as officers pulled the vehicle over, officers tool Noe Albor, 24, into custody. According to police, Albor was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated - fourth offense, operating with a revoked license due to a previous alcohol conviction, operating without headlights lit, possession of marijuana, and possession of marijuana.
